Ep. #312 featuring Von Hertzen Brothers

Von Hertzen BrothersI was admittedly a little late to the party on New Day Rising, the latest album from the Von Hertzen Brothers. I had received the album by chance several weeks after its initial released, and gave it a fair amount of play in the weeks that followed. That said, as I regularly look back at what music 2015 has brought us, I keep coming back to this particular album. And so although it might not be timely, that’s why I have chosen to have it as the featured album this week. This album, along with two previous efforts made it to #1 in Finland, the band’s home country.

The big news in metal this week was the release of the new single from Iron Maiden, Speed of Light. The song comes from the forthcoming album The Book of Souls and can be viewed below.

The Dear Hunter also released a new song this week which can be heard here.

That’s it for now, enjoy the show and thanks for downloading!
